The game looks awesome, but I'm a bit hesitant to commit to the time and money this game will cost me without some idea of how it plays.

I think that you are in a pretty typical situation. A lot of players are in a holding pattern until they see some battle reports (and I don't blame them either).

The reason it is taking longer than other games really boils down to people having to build up their fleets and get them on the table. We have a number of review copies out as well but there again, nothing will hit the news scene until people have had some build time.

We're right here with you, waiting for reports to start rolling in

Well, I thought I'd let you in on a secret that the Canadian Navy has. All sailors have been ordered not to order pizza while at sea.

Yes, its true.

Appearently once while 'at sea' a ship slipped into a harbour to quickly pick up supplies. (They occasionally do that in foreign ports, but they don't tell anyone and try to keep it a secret.) Anyways, although the ship was there, the sailors were not allowed off. So they ordered Pizza.

Hence, Canada has standing orders not to order pizza while at sea.

So now theres' a run on K.F.C.
