| Post subject: | Pathfinder Standees |
After seeing the Pirates and Citizens standee sets, I would be interested in seeing some standee sets for vaious creatures and characters from the Pasthfinder books, particularly the upcoming Pathfinder Bestiary and the iconics. Since plastic minis seem to be out of reach because of cost, this would be a good way of getting accurate color representations of the creatures on the gaming table. |

I have thought about doing such a thing myself, but have never done so as I was lucky to inherit a ton of D&D plastic minis (I own 2k+ !) and rarely run into the issue of needing something I don't have something at least close enough for representation. I have been thinking more about using this process for some of the more obscure things though. |

I did what Curundil suggested and I think it worked out fairly well. I used the Pathfinder Paper Mini sets as a template but then pasted over the original art with art from pathfinder pdfs using Photoshop. Their rulebooks and modules are full of artwork that can be shrunk down for pc, npc, and monster standees. Most of the art can also be found online with a google image search . |

Unless you really really had to have the Iconic's the 2 Citizen and a Maiden's 20 are a great for standees. What I would like to see though is a set or 2 or of the universal monster standee's including the original rust monster (Gygax stole that one from some place else). PS> I did not even realize there was a Pathfinder wish list thread
