I would keep an eye on Worhole for that kind of thing...

Wormhole is mini ships, if WWG were to do a thing like this, it would make the most sense for WH. I haven't seen anything in the lineup for it, but you never know...

I guess its possible that they might make a space station for wormhole. Although it doesn't seem useful enough for the game to design and make something so large.

Really I think the only way something like that would happen is if theres so much interest in the mini ships for wormhole that WW does some 3d sets for them. But I think that unlikely. The ships from wormhole are simplified to speed construction. I don't know if there going to generate that kind of interest as stand alone minis.

While I'm not one of the beta testers, from what we have seen, a space station would be a great addition to Worm Hole. I've never seen a space combat game that used anything other that some sort of space mat, and a couple of floaty objects. Since Wormhole is taking that gaming to a new level, it makes sense to add a roleplaying element to the scenarios and have conflict over a space station or something else. Perhaps the station is built into a gigantic asteroid...

Think of most miniatures games using the rest of the WWG terrain. Terrain is really just blocking items and items for interaction... we just love to use the really pretty graphics and models to lose ourselves in the games.

I hope that is the direction that Wormhole takes.
