Being Steampunk, what about a coalyard? Giant piles of coal!

Boilers and burners, too! Hmmm... how to do the smoke with cardstock? Simple enough with cottonballs, etc.

Could they do large/giant robots? Articulated options for arms, somewhat in the way that Siegeworks has lots of articulation. In the 25mm scale, have 10-foot steam-powered robots to battle those steam-powered tanks.

And steam-powered walkers. Just cant find enough of those old Burger King Wild Wild West walkers to make up all the steam-spiders I need.

I would really like to see a Steam Punk prop.

A big over the top inside of tower clock (I'm sure there was a cartoon that had a fight scene inside big ben - with massive cogs), a clockworky waterwheel linking into a mad inventors laboratory.

Oooh, man, I'd LOVE this. It would have some cool modern applications too. Everyone likes the climactic action movie fistfight in the clocktower!

I have often thought about kitbashing a clocktower for Mayhem, and the Watch Tower would be a great beginning, but while I could probably manage to create a clock face myself, I would struggle with the interior of cogs and whatnot in the middle, surrounded by a spiral (squared) staircase.

If only I had infinite time to get all these projects done...

Hmm, those sound like great candidates for a WWG model set. A cardstock Zepplin could be very cool, especially if it had an interior (kinda like the Maiden).

I think the biplanes and zepplin types would be great for Pulp games and WWI type themes.

I am buying up some police cars for a zombie game I want to play.

Some early steel age interiors would be great:
Iron/steel paneling and doors, rusty pipes and ducting, steam vents, iron bound vats, rows of heavy levers, large cogs, half cogs the reach up through the floor, and rivets, lots of rivets.

Tramp steamers, warships, factories, subs, heavy gun emplacements - you name it, if it's pre-1960s heavy industrial these interiors would be great. Can just see the zombies crawling out from the heart of the old abandoned factory. This stuff can also be integrated into fantasy dungeons as was done with dwarven ruins in the Morrowind PC game.

A riverboat scaled to Malifaux could be a whole table in itself. Remember the 30mm lipped bases though.
A multipart kit could be produced, providing options for colonial conflicts, America, the East and Australia. Simple cargo boat or passenger, showboat, sidewheeler or sternwheeler, even an ironclad or gunboat version for the American civil war.

Grump, your physics-defying poem is reminiscent of Return to Cranford, where the cow on the line somehow survives a train at high speed stopping for it, scattering its rollingstock all over the countryside, which in reality would have been futile, the momentum would leave the train on top of the beef cutlets anyway; still somehow it is inexplicably decided "not the drivers fault" even though he was willing to risk the lives of everyone on board to avoid killing the sacred cow which common sense dictates is unlikely to have proved an achievable goal.
In Australia there would simply be a stock kill report with the words "scared $h|+less and running" flippantly written under "last observed position of animal(s)".

Perhaps there should be a collection of trains for different purposes, 4-4-0 and 2-6-0 for different periods in American history, British items for VSF and colonial, 1930s vehicles which would do for anything used in Australia, the Americas, Europe, Asia or Africa, for pulp; and some modern.
An improved version of the Mayhem Rail multiple unit would be ideal, coaching stock is commonly a lot longer than that. A variety of full-interiored coaching and freight stock is a must. Perhaps a trainset like ICE, TGV or the Tilt Train. Maybe a shunter and points for a yard?
A signal box? Railmotor?
Grounded wagons used as outbuildings?
Industrial or primary industrial tramways?
Narrow gauge, like QR 3'6" or the D&RGW 3'?
Going too far, maybe some custom lab and office coaches for arch-villains and secret agents, purely fantasy stock such as Malifaux Chain cars, and retextured versions representing ghostly, daemonic, horror or otherwise just fantasy versions. Maybe a maglev train for SF?
Rail tiles and platforms for alternate terrain such as Wildwood Grove, echoing Sydneys Rookwood Cemetary early last century?

Do seem to have had trains on my mind a lot lately.

Would love to see stuff to work with Spartan Games Dystopian Wars.
Steam Punk Land, Air, and Naval Combat game set about 2-3mm scale.

Steampunk or Magicpunk is very high on my wishlist. Most suggestions here seem to cover it nicely. Definitely intriguing.

What I think might work well is a series of prop packs to add on to existing sets.

Say a series of boilers and balloons to add on to a pirate ship, or segments of brass and copper pipes.

I mean, a whole lot of the base for Steampunk is already there in the Modern, Shellendrak, and Seaworks sets, we just need the pipes and Steampunk tech to add on to them.

Haven't seen first-hand the pumping station for Himmerveil Sewers Booster - but from the promo pix it seems like it would be a good starting point for big boiler kitbash.

Re-skinning Platform Command would make a nice, Steampunky world. And a Steampunk Crushed Metal for building walkers and tanks out of component parts.
