Ey... what about treasure maps? it could have some common symbols like caves, ruins, mountains, lakes that we could put in the place we choose. Some background art like magic languages, texture of the map like wasted scrolls etc.. |

Just brainstorming here... Would this fall into the "1-to-1" scale of stuff as does the Helm, Sword and Lightning Gun? Printable pages of maps on demand. Perhaps the PDF could be programed to inset the symbols that the user wants and not be limited to a one-drawing-has-to-fit-all-applications. (Not sure if this is feasible - certainly not my area of expertise!) We do have customizable text boxes with the cards for Roll Arena. The set of basic maps could include perhaps a dozen or so general island, land, river, forest, desert, swamp, etc. settings with available options of icons for landmarks. |

Have you had a look at the - with mods (see ) it can be used for maps. Of course if you're really serious about there's full blown mapping tools like Campaign Cartographer. |

Campaign Cartographer is probably overkill for what he described, though. The best mapping tool for encounter/scenario design I saw was the somewhat-defunct "Dunjinni". Very good, easy to use, very customizable... but it's in some weird legal morass at the moment. I've got no idea what's going on with it now. |
