Another option (one that I explored a while back) is using an online banner printer service. I went with Banners on the Cheap, but they have a printing resolution issue that would lower the quality of WWG stuff. That being said, they can do prints relatively cheap. I've done one roughly 2x3 for around 20 bucks (including S&H), and I've researched doing one thats 4x8 ft that would run approx $50. The resolution issue would make fine details blurry, but would not make the boards un-usable, unrecognizable, or anything of the type. I have not done this with a WWG product, but with other online maps. You would need to use MS Paint/PPT or other image product to set up the board, save it as a single file and upload it. But it should work OK. You might also find a different printing company to get a better job. |

I wanna see a vinyl gaming mat made too! Having a good quality one that you can roll up is nice. There is another company that makes 3x3 and 4x4 gaming mats but they make theirs out of rubber, which isn't really the best most durable material. The rubber they use is really thin and can warp easily. |
