Hi folks! Long time no cut and glue! I haven't posted here for a few years now as I moved to a town that has little to no gaming and life got busy. My regular gaming friend and I discovered Roll20 so I could continue gaming in a gaming void. Great fun to game again...Sadly I don't get to use my gazillion pieces of WWG terrain. I think it would be a great Idea if WWG packaged some of their sets for specific use for virtual Tabletops. The ground tiles just for a start! Though there's lots of other stuff that can be adapted! That is all...Hope everybody is well... |

I have successfully used , my preferred VTT because of the flexibility and support for user-created frameworks. I started a D&D 4E Dark Sun campaign a while ago, I wrote some of my experiences with it and the proram here: http://forums.rptools.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=23057 |

I think I found that RPTools' support has faded in the last few years and Roll20's setup is really clean and fast. No installations either, all web based. |

I use roll20. Works well and for most of what you want, it's free! ![]() (saying that, I'm a subscriber as I like the dynamic lighting). We play with it in Google Hangout, and pretty much any issues are user error, which is nice! ![]() It's good, but not as good as table top and WWG scenery! ![]() OTOH, it means I can game twice a week... |

I was going to mention that I had tried out both Tabletop Forge and Roll20, but they are apparently now merged: http://www.tenkarstavern.com/2013/01/ta ... oll20.html Definitely a useful program. |

And I will say, hopefully without getting in trouble, that I do use some of my WW stuff in Roll20. Keep in mind that it stays on my own account and never goes anywhere outside the group. |

But wouldn't it be nice to have a bunch of WWG tiles already set up? I'd buy a package of ground tiles and some top down prop tiles...Even some of the standups could be adjusted to a more top down version from the original artist fairly easily. It would be easy enough to adapt the stuff but if it was able to be bought from here with existing awesome textures I think most people would opt for that. |
