Greetings... I am new to your realm so I don't know if this has been suggested yet. I have purchased the Ultimate Castle and the Castle Interior sets. I really like the models that I am building! How fun! As I build my Castle I wonder... Wouldn't it be fun to have a Darker set of pieces for a Warlocks Tower or an Evil queens Fortress? Like Bavmordas Fortress in Willow. Tall Dark Gothic towers. Something to work with the wonderful dungeon sets. Also I have been sealing my models with shellac sealer and finising them with polyurithane. Is there a better way to preserve them? I think it adds a lot of depth to them, and strength. ^_^ |

I will post them. I was not to happy at first... I printed the paperlinx out on paper instead of card and glued them to the Black foamboard. The Shellacing(SP?) made the paper warp away from the board... Bleh So I reprinted onto Card Stock and, Voila! Sweetness. Also, I am finishing with satin finish Polyurithane as I don't wish the pieces to be as smooth and shiny as Legos. I'm glad (and a little bit suprised) at the reponse already posted for a Darker building set. Tower of Orthanc anyone? ^_^ Labyrinth, Legend, Willow, LOTR, Snow White... Some place a Dragon Riding Warlock could kick off his shoes and enjoy a bubbling glass of the Black Drink... Maybe even something like in the count of Monte Cristo for your seafaring sets. A prison island. With the cave system you could make underground tunnels that the prisoners dug... |

You might take a look at Gothic Realms. It has that general feel I think you're looking for, and has a lot of pieces that can be used in various ways. (Plus it has sewers!) I use IW:CK and DW:GR together quite a bit. |
