I've already purchased Dungeonworks (in fact I got it probably within mere moments of it going up at RPGNow... I've been checking the page all weekend waiting for it) and I've got to say that it's just beautiful. I'll be putting up reviews for both Dungeonworks and Castleworks in the next day or two on RPGNow (and both very positive I assure you). I do have to ask... after your well deserved break, what's next? If a vote matters, I'd love to see Villageworks next. with what you've done, we've got dungeon-indoor pieces and a great castle, but I'd love to have a village to go with it and the material I've found on the net is nowhere near your level of quality and though the Wizard's stuff is close, it's not quite as good nor does it allow for a very complete village. Next in my line for most wanted would be Interiorworks which with Dungeonworks would probably give us everything indoors we could hope for. Many thanks for such excellent products and I look forward to your next ones (after your well-earned break of course). |

I would have to say interior should be next. That way you can make your castle complete. Village works and interior works should be released at the same time so people could have their buildings compleated earlier.. although you would have to wait longer you could do it all at once. |

Hastur, Wow! Thank you for the amazingly kind words ;D . I really appreciate the fact that youre placing a review on RPGNow as this will help sway those who arent quite sold. In the end, the more sales I make, the more models I will make! Im just glad that my models are finding the audience that they were intended for (poor starving gamers who deserve quality!). In regards to voting; it definatley does matter! In fact I may put a voting system on the main site to achieve this very thing. After December I'm torn between three model sets: 1. CaveWorks 2. VillageWorks 3. InteriorWorks I have some great ideas for all three but I cant quite decide.Your vote COUNTS! Thanks again. ;) |

Hmm.. could you give us a little insight as to what caveworks is gonna be about? If its like a dungeon then Id place my vote with that instead of the interior works. If its for large caves I wouldnt be so sure. |

LOL...Actually that has defiantly been a forethought to the CaveWorks set. The thing is that I want to keep all of the model sets as simple as possible without sacrificing a visually pleasing esthetic. They should look great and go together fast. I have a few ideas in regards to the CaveWorks set that will keep things looking VERY organic without making the corridors too complicated to build. The real difficulty is populating a cave with as many props as are included in the DungeonWorks set. I've set a new standard now and I want to live up to it. Any ideas you guys have for cavern objects are most welcome! |

I love Dungeon Works just got it and printing stuff as we speak, it looks great. really excited to use it. My player will love it. I have a big Vote for Caveworks Next, since it A. it will mix well with dungeon works, and B. i want to us it with City of the Spider Queen. Items for cave works. Water- Lake tiles, Pools of water, Streams, even Slime. Pillers, stlagtites and stuff. Crakes Crevesses Holes Down, Platues, like the risers in DW but more free form. Skelton bodies would be cool too. Also a male and female statue. (like the piller in the tourture room) This is one of the coolest product in PDF form i've seen, and the first PDF i ever bought. Any thought of putting out a Paper based version? Oh one last note, since the prints eat a lot of color ink as it is (to get the good look) could you not put color in the fold flaps, (they are like a green/gray now) just make the white with a black out line? I'm glad you like it Time! I'm really blown away by all the positive feedback I'm receiving on the boards and through e-mail. Thank you everyone! I have finally come up with a loose production timeline based on feedback and practicality. There will be three back-to-back releases of WorldWorks model sets in the following order: VillageWorks, InteriorWorks and CaveWorks. For those of you waiting for CaveWorks take heart! I am going full steam ahead on these products and they will all come out within the same timeframe. Because of the very positive response I have received with DungeonWorks and CastleWorks, I now realize that I can dedicate a substantial chunk of my time in creating new models. Over the next few months WorldWorks will become my "fulltime" job. After a short break in December you can expect a flurry of new products throughout early 2003! I can’t wait to get started as I have tons of great ideas. I will definitely get rid of the yellow coloring on the glue-tabs with the next set. Thank you for the suggestion Time! |

I was thinking about the flaps thing, Cut the color out, but make the flap area a gray or shaded or striped. Just no color in it. So it still stands out what area is a flap. White might be a little to nothing, since if the score is off a little and its showing, the white on the tab might stand out a lot compared to a gray. As for suggestions for interior works. Statues, Windows and paintings (like the sliding doors in dungeon works) Rugs, Bar or counter tops, bar stools, Round/4x4 Tables, potted plants, Wizard lab items. Denny, great job! I no longer have to panhandle outside theaters to buy great looking dungeon terrain. I recommend your product to as many people as I can and eagerly await your new projects. Some things to add to future sets (maybe interiorworks) - An altar (with or without sacrifice) - alchemical lab table - a large statue (the size of the fireplace in dungeonworks) - webs (for cavernworks) maybe a slanted 3-D piece as opposed to a floor tile - rugs (can double as tapestries with a bit of tape) - barred walls to make a jail cell Again, Great Job! Grim, Thank you very much for the compliment and the great ideas! Im sure you'll see one or two of them become a reality  VillageWorks will be out by mid to late January with InteriorWorks right on its tale (may even be a simultaneous release) so you'll have lots of building to do right after Christmas!
