I am a huge Pinnacle fan. I am really into their Rippers game. I would like to see a Victorian London set with the "butcher shop" described in the strange locations. What does every one else think? |

Throwing in my vote for Victorian London type terrain. Have you guys ever messed with Etherscope? It's a very cool RPG setting from Goodman Games. Enter Etherspace In 1876, Harold Wallace discovered something that changed the world: Etherspace. The might of Victorian industry drove forward, breaking down the frontiers of technology. Victorian England makes me think of a series of sculptures I came across depicting Dicken's works. They are awesome, as would be any model set created for this era. I have them on a disk ... might find them in this unorganized mess. |

This seems to be a good thread in which to point out that the beautiful mid-19th Century maps of Britain have been re-issued. London is covered in sheets 176 and 177. Scotland is covered in slightly different scale and has to be ordered direct from Ordnance Survey: Has anyone come across particularly interesting rules for Mad Science? |

Split Eye Productions has some very nice PDF maps of Victorian London, they run about $5, but I have seen them on special, or in bundles, for less. I find it useful to use a graphics program to choose the part of the map I need, copy it, then save it into whatever I am working on at the moment. If I were to actually print it up it would be about six by four feet. The Auld Grump |

Add another vote for Victorian London streets & buildings! Cobblestone streets, posh rowhouses, brick tenements, shopfronts... And don't forget big imposing granite(?) banks, government buildings, etc... for Whitehall! |
