I'd like to see some retro-fitted textures and some "period" street light posts and for Urban Mayhem:Streets and Urban Mayhem:Downtown. With UM:Streets some cobblestone or brick roadways. No painted lines or modern trash on the sidewalks. Some old decrepit cement walkways busted and or breaking. The train tiles are fine because they could just as easily represent street cars. And the suspended parts already remind me of old Chicago. Maybe a new color screen... some rusty brown or pale grey. For UM:Downtown a couple of the buildings could use a re-texturing, and modded to fit some of the earlier skyscrapers... add some signs for the time...20-30's. Maybe some new store front facades for a Barber (including a Barber pole). And old book shop and a shop of antiquities... Old style Phone booth, etc. The gas station could be redone as the old Full Service Station. With a larger building and visible rack inside. Advertising Free Oil & Tire check and Window cleaning with every fill up. $.21 a gallon (average price for the 30's). And maybe a few cars like the coupe in Shellandrack Manor. A Hudson, Packard and Studebaker are some ideas off the top of my head. ~Floyd ~Floyd |

U.S.S. Akron & Macon 785ft http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Akron_%28ZRS-4%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Macon_(ZRS-5) Pandora 1,378ft (as presented in the AAW that came with the MS PC game) Huntress 1,500ft (she is a San Jacinto class zep, the former Jim Bowie) (PotR) Machiavelli, the former Moroni ? Gemini ? Found more CS zeps: Echo 1,200ft (PotR) San Jacinto 1,500ft (PotR) Republic 1,800ft (PotR) Legacy 2,000ft (PotR) Son of the Empire 1,840ft (AAW) Lots of other zeps are mentioned in CS literature, but I do not think any more have at least their length, let alone their breadth and/or volume, mentioned. I did not include breadth and/or volume since Snizitch did not in his.[/i] |

The hangars built for the zeppelin/ rigid airship traffic here in the United States are among the largest structures built until their time. I believe Hangar One still has the Guinness Record for the largest room in a structure. Moffat Field and the U.S.S. Macon http://moffettfieldmuseum.org/photos/in ... er=/Macon/ NAS Lakehurst and the U.S.S. Akron http://www.nlhs.com/hangarno.htm There were some others, but Lakehurst was the central facility on the East Coast and Moffat on the West Coast. |

And of course decorations that indicate allegiance to: Nazis (WWII pulp) The Kaiser (WWI pulp) U.S.S.R. (1950s pulpish) Czarist Russia (Victorian age through WWI) You know, the bad guys. Transomed doors! Ceiling fans. Old fashioned radio equipment. (As an aside, some of the really old radio transmitters grounded through the operator, leading to the nickname 'Sparky' ![]() ![]() Some items are already in the works - the Pool Hall might fit right in.
