Have you guys thought of putting your models out in a way that would people to swap the colors out? Sometimes I find that I wish I could re-color a model just to be able to re-use it without it looking the same. |

Worldworks Games' closest ally in the paper modeling world, Ebbles Miniatures, pioneered a system that allowed users to change every color and pattern on their models. ...It was monumentally unsuccessful, at least monetarily (or so I gather). It worked as described, but never gained enough support from the community to be worth continuing. I think it's cool in theory, but way too much work in practice. I will say that it is EXTREMELY easy to modify colors and do basic kitbashing with just an elementary understanding of Photoshop or Gimp (free!). If you are looking for this for personal use, I would recommend you give one of those a try. It's much easier than it sounds. PM me or post if you need help. I (or any one of the other kitbash pros) would be happy to help you learn. |
