anybody ever thought of doing a sky backdrop for their games, like a large printed skybox backdrop like in alot of promo pics? I looked around google for textures , but was overwelmed with crap. I just think it would be cool. How about the background sky in the chronometer promo pic? Making that available would be a good start. |

The model railroad hobby has vista type scrolls of varying background terrain (modern city, farmland, desert, forest, etc.) available. A little pricey perhaps, and some might contain anachronistic elements for what you are displaying/photgraphing. But if you looked at the O-scale you might find something usable for your application. They generally run at least 12" high and are a few feet long. |

If you wanted to make it yourself you could try a program called PosterPrint. It work similar to how you can print something to PDF format. once you print the document then you can stretch it out however big you want it (just be mindful of the resolution). Here it the link to it. I picked it up quite a while ago to print out the maps from adventure modals for RPGs. As long as you do not stretch the Picture too far you should be good. I have also made a huge Axis and Allies map using it (the one that comes with the game can be too small at times). T |

PosterPrint looks interesting. I have used both and to make large multi-page prints of maps. ![]() You can download PosterRazor and use it offline. The block posters program is used online. |
