Wow. I remember a long time ago I requested a vanilla Firstlight/Retrofit ship for Wormhole, and I just noticed today in the kitbash section that my request has been answered. Thank you Andorax. I think it allows for some expansion of Wormhole to play out shipboard incursions using the other sci-fi sets. Or allow for some ship to ship combat for Firstlight with an organized set of fully functional rules. Now with that kitbash being released, I wonder how long it will be before other kitbashes are released for Wormhole that represent Shadowcore Prime and a clean and corrupted version of Celestus. For that matter, ship corruption brings to mind combat from Homeworld: Cataclysm (which I recently started playing again). It might be great to see some regular Wormhole ships that are corrupted like Celestus, or infected like Shadowcore Prime. Infection/corruption could also work well accompanying a bonus scenario, similar to the one released with the Unidentified Alien Vessel kitbash, also by Andorax. But this one would probably focus on quarantine or extermination. |
