I understand, but as Denny mentioned above, the older files tend to have textures sitting outside the registration marks due to them being created prior to cutfile support. If you are not planning on moving the images and therefore will not be sharing the images, I am under the impression that this is not a problem from Denny's message above. At the same time I am also under the impression that the goal is to use the Kitbash area to actually move images and make cutfiles that work completely as they should. I would think that your efforts should be turned to the link posted above and to inquire as to whether there is movement on the topic (of which I am unaware).
I am really excited for the cutfile support for past models. I can't wait to see what people have to offer and to have cutfiles pour in. *Fingers crossed* that the kinks will get taken out of the process and the community will flood WWG with kitbashes
