I am wondering if there is such a thing as a sticker-backed paper that I could cut with a Silhouette SD that would adhere to a table that would have things set on it, spilled on it, the table would be moved often, etc. The table would get a coat of primer and then spray paint before getting the stickers. I have done this sort of thing before, but didn't have a Silhouette SD and someone else that I knew had something called a "plotter" with their own materials. That friend has since moved on and I thought I could use my Silhouette SD for this. Ideas? |

My robocutter didn't come with any materials. Vinyl seems like it could work, but will it tear easily? Last time we did this we abused reflective materials used in street signs, but I assume that would be expensive. |

I bought my SD as part of a special promotion from Quickutz and it arrived with a box of adhesive backed vinyl in four colors. It works great for larger shapes stuck onto things like picture frames, coffee cups, and table tops. Really fine detail pieces felt fragile and were kind of a nuisance to adhere to things. Vinyl seemed pretty durable. |

Adhesive-backed vinyl seems like the way to go so far. I figured as much, but thought I should ask around. As for label paper, that is great for terrain, but this is for a surface that will get wet and have cold drinks set on it. |
