I like Robocut. ![]() I generally refer to mine as Andy the Android. The office cats think it's awesome because when the sheet is moving back and forth, it's like the ultimate cat toy to them. Although, at first, it used to scare them out of a cold nap into running flight for the door when it started up. Once they realized the strange thing that sounds like a blender full of gravel wasn't something to be scared of, they started to see it as a cat toy or a place to nap behind. -Mel |

Well mine showed up last night, and after taking about 2 and a half hours to get it to work.... it's weird all of the Himil pages I had printed out earlier just would not get the registration marks recognized, I tried for about 2 hours to get it to recgnize or try to get it to "hand cut" properly and went through about 5 sheats that were butchered. in the end to check if ti was the machine I printed off Mel's test (the little prop pack) and it registered and cut it out perfectly, then printed off 4 diff colors of the Crotale IV, and it did them perfectly. So I was like it's not the machine, I printed out a new version of one of the totally butchered Himil pages, and it recongnized it, and then proceded to cut it and it's 5 copies, and from then on it recognized all the Himils... It's like I had to teach it, weird... Well after churing out loads of cuts last night, one of the best $100 i ever spent. Mines getting named as iirc at about the same time and introduced me to the world of Quality card stock modeling (had tried some of the black and white which left me disliking it), took those guys to show me some better model sets and started me down the path... So well got more to cut tonight as most of last night (starting at around ![]() |

I have had the same problem with 3 odd sheets of the same print out of the same print run; 3 out of 9. The other six were fine and they were not the first six or the last but the three that don't want to register were in the middle of the pack. Werid. Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |
