New Users.
Spent the weekend trying to get my S SD working with reg marks on Mayhem UnderConstruction I just purchased.
It does not see the reg marks no matter what I do.
I carefully put the page on the carrier sheet.
I put it arrow sheet in. Even tried the print out upside down on the carrier sheet just in case I was pulling a dyslexic and it did the same thing.
Blade is set to what Denny has indicated Red, 10 28.(thanks so much for that)
I have RTFM three times but might be using closure and just not seeing what I need, I have watched the video, I have tried different print outs. Barrels page, piles page(piles of bricks etc) and Pallet page.
I am hoping I have the wrong drivers.
Can some one post what version and the name of software that is working so I can rule out the drivers and programs I am using? (I am using what I received with my SD last week)(sorry at work and don't have the specific)
It seems like the eye is looking too far up the carrier sheet and not on the card stock page when it automatically looks for the reg Marks. Error 208 and 210 consistently.
I created a custom paper for choosing in the paper drop down list called CardStock 110 and put in the red, 10, 28 settings.
Is it because I am using a carrier sheet and in my custom setup have not told the robot to take that into account?
Or is there an off set for margins I need to manually set?
I can cut stuff I have made out of the design software no problems.
Icicles, little sayings, flowers... IT works great. But that doesn't help my paper city. Makes my wife happy but not me.
I just can't get it to cut even with manually putting the cutter head right in the middle of the manual set area.
It is the cutting blade that i put there and not the EYE of the carriage right?
As a last resort I manually set the cutter to the reg mark it failed but I cut anyways just so see where it would cut and it was cutting basically right at the top of the page. Again like it didn't know there was a carrier sheet and assumed the carrier sheet was the start of my paper.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
