I find that my home made carrier sheets are sticky enough to hold the pieces for cutting, but not sticky enough that I'd want to risk them popping off if I sent it through upside down. If I made them stickier, I'd have a hard time peeling more delicate pieces off of the carrier sheet. I too use 110lb cardstock and find that the carrier sheets get slight cuts. Maybe this works really well, though, with something perfectly symmetrical like 6" tiles? I'd still be afraid of the little tab slot cut-offs popping off... |

Having glue on both sides of the carrier sheet might be an issue here...you would certainly need single sided sheets as well as the doubles 
I cant see any advantage to doing it that way ...since your going to have to load a sheet, unload an sheet, and load the next anyway

I'm not tracking why glue on both sides of the carrier sheet is bad. Both sides of the sheet will have a printout stuck to it so it's not like glue will be getting on the rollers. Please elaborate on your point so that I can understand it. The point is I would need half as many carrier sheets because I get two print outs and two cutting jobs done on one sheet. mproteau brings up a valid point.... you do risk things popping off when you run it through that second time. Easy enough to test tho and find out. My only concern right now is some how hurting the robo cutter by trying to feed in a sheet that's 3 layers of 110lb card stock. Does anyone know if that's a real problem? |

I saved on going outside in the dark and wind to spray more carrier sheets. I used 110lb cardstock, it did not score through into the second sheet much if at all. The pieces did not flake off, i used Krylon Tack 2000? glue. I'll try more sheets this weekend, with more parts, to see how they fare. |
