I originally was going to ask for a SOH/Hinterland snow booster. But then I though of the Thoumont roof system and it hit me you could just do a Snow booster. It could have snow textures that would be print and cut out and then laid over the existing tiles using the same method as the Thoumonts 2 way truss to keep them in place. Instant winter wonderland for all the TLX sets. For walls and roofs it could be done the same way. Since the set normal walls would do most of the work you could just have single layer thick snow "walls" to go on outside the standard walls. It might not work but sure seems like it would be a fun booster. Edit: I would try a kit bash but I am lousy at things like textures. |

I could see that working. I also know from my experimenting with my Hinterlands TLX kitbash (I'll definitely be submitting the Hills system from that as a kitbash) that you can easily fit 2, maybe even 3 wall tabs into a single slot on a connector post, so creating something like this would be relatively simple to do. Of course, for some special pieces, you may as well create a new piece to cover it, but there should be very few pieces that fall into that category (personally, I can only think of two or three). What about a more 3D option to go with the textured walls/rooftops? Small snowdrifts that can be placed alongside walls or around corners. Something like those rocks in Hinterland TLX, but flat on one end.. and snow textured, of course. |

What I would really like to see is a winter forest. Deciduous trees without leaves in both simple and complex forms along with snow or leaf covered ground with scrubby grasses and whatnot. I've been wanting to put together an adventure to run at some cons and I wanted it to take place in the winter. Turns out that winter scenery is hard to come by. |

For the time being, I would consider the Dwarven sets with coniferous trees. I could defnitely see a use for this, though. As for trees, the Sentinel could possibly be kitbashed... |
