My wife and I are beginning a lhotdk build and it dawned on me that it would be cool to be able to print floor sections with no anchors to use in open areas. I love having them in the hinterland and would love to see more of them in future sets.

Sounds like a great kitbash option to me. You should put a request in over in the kitbash section and see if anyone picks it up.

One of the big advantages of anchor-less tiles is that they are faster to build. If you don't need the anchors, it's easier to leave them off. So good idea. :)

+1. I was just thinking this the other day.

They are in a decent chunk of sets. Sets that have a less open typical application tend to lack them. The number of sets missing anchorless tiles all seem to have sound reasons for not including the anchorless versions. (Here are the sets that lack them from the fantasy and sci-fi genres: Sewers prior to the booster, Garden, Lost Halls and expansions, Oubliette, Titan, Titan 2, Thoumont's).

I personally would much rather see the anchorless versions done through the route of a kitbash and for WWG developers to work on the new textures.

Shhh... Don't tell anyone but you just might see some anchorless Garden Tiles come out of the Kitbash queue...

Not that I know anything about that... No sir...
