So as I continue to work on my dungeon building (back into it), I realized I need (want) doors that can be opened, or at least shown they were opened. I was thinking of different ideas and had a few options that I wanted to get opinions on, or if anyone has done it already. 1. A wall with closed door and a second wall behind it with the doorway cut out. pull up the closed door when "opened" by players to reveal the wall with open door. - only problem I see with this is extra wall printings and making. Also if there is a wall with 2 doors I would need sectioned door areas. 2. Cut out all the doors from my walls and create/ kitbash doors with fold-flat bottoms on them (like the paper minis) to act as stand alone to fit into doorway and can be moved if open or closed. - this could fit better, but the kitbashing might take time away from my current work. I may do this and end up kitbashing a bunch of stuff...and my other computer any replies and/or insight into this would be helpful |

I do the first for TLX, but also use the second in my TCPs builds. Also, don't discount the idea of using kitbashed opened/closed or locked/unlocked markers over the top of doors (I could have sworn that this product existed already, but I can't seem to find it anywhere). |

I'd just cut around the door so that it functions as in real life and then bend it into open or closed positions as needed. |

I think CastleWorks did a similar thing too. |

Has anyone tried this using a transpaency for the door fold over? I was just hinking this would let you use one set of doors on various walls, instead of having to bash a door for each type of wall. I am biased to the just cut an fold method for doors myself. evan |
