I do not currently have any worldworks sets. I would like to get some. I generally run pathfinder games. What are a few good ones to start off with? |

It really depends on what you are looking for. For quick build, look at the SwiftScenics line, but honestly I would go with TerrainLinx (TLX) due to the flexibility (think model airplane vs Legos). As for which specific set, that depends on what you need in your game: Buildings and Inns: Thoumont's and/or Fiesty Friar and/or Shellendrak Outdoors: Hinterland Forest and/or Cliffs City Based: Himmelveil Streets (and possibly Canals/Sewers) Dungeons: Lost Hall of the Dwarven Kings and/or Oubliette and/or Lair of the Dragon Gods Underground Garden: Garden Many of the above have expansions that are worth picking up, but aren't needed to start with. |

I started with Thoumont's for building villages and towns, then started buying prop sets for internal structures. |

My 2c: Start with buildings and some countryside first: - Thoumonts or the Feisty Friar (anything from a cottage in the wilds to a bustling city street, you (almost) always need buildings - and these will double as interiors in other places as well) - Hinterlands Forrest and/or Cliffs (outdoors, outdoors, outdoors - start with whichever you have most need for first) After that, the Himmelveil sets if you are doing a lot of playing in cities, or Lost Halls of the Dwarven Kings for dungeoneering. p.s. Agree with yosefbender's recommendation for Props sets. Not only do they enable you to add unique details to each scene, they also vary the construction work along the way. |

I find Himmelvale Streets to be very useful for both city and dungeon. I play Pathfinder and have used my Himmelvale set, with some kitbashing, for a lot of the Serpent Skull AP. Thoumont's is awesome, and, even though I have it, I am picking up the Feisty Friar. Just looks incredible. Oubliette and Dwarven Halls, nice sets. Hinterlands, great. It really depends on what you are running. Do you run AP's or Modules, or PFS Scenarios? |

I am running a Kingmaker campaign and have got a lot of use our of hinterlands. My advice would be to look at where the next three fights are taking place? In a building, a dungeon or outside. |
