Soo....the small TLX church I am working on is going to have a spiral staircase that climbs the bell tower. The bell tower is 3"x3", so the normal stairs won't work in it. I was wondering if there was a spiral staircase made for TLX? I have good ideas on how to bash it up, but if there is one that exists.... |

Now that's a great idea. Given this might be core element/prop in a revamped CastleWorks, might want to check this one with Denny. p.s. Please design it the right way round (or provide both left and and right hand versions). FYI, the 'correct' way is spiraling up to the left - this hinder the sword swing of right handed attackers climbing stairs and advantages right handed defenders holding the stairs from above. |

You might try starting with the existing kit bash spiral. As it stands it seems to be missing the central shaft but the stair geometry is already done |

zenguy, well aware of the 'correct' way to build a spiral staircase I can't think of which castle I was in in England where they explained that. Castleworks spiral...yes, there is that, and I have it somewhere. What I was looking at doing was one that would hug the walls of the 3x3 tile while keeping the central shaft open |

Having both allows flexibility and it should not be a chore at all to flip the images. |

Ok the issue I am running into is the corner posts. I am attempting to figure out a way to use them to my advantage and actually slot the whole staircase into them. |

Just to be a pain (as usual!), there are a few castles with , mostly in Celtic countries (I first came across them in Wales) where there are more lefties than the normal population. |

is the bashed up spiral staircase for The Friar. It's actually pretty easy. I have a couple adjustments to make and it will be ready to release to the masses. I plan on doing one for Thoumonts. I'm sure Mayhem could use something like this too. |
