How big can a TLX tile get? Inspired by the geometry in TLX tiles, my wife and I used them vertically to make modular castle walls. We had to create a few accessories for corners and crenellations, but overall it worked quite well. You can see pictures on my blog . The basic concept is a 2'X2' tile, sandwiched between foamcore squares. Other smaller (1X2 and 1X1) Connectors join tiles vertically while a special adapter was built to join corners. If any of you would like to try this, I can only advise NOT to paint the tiles like we did. Paint makes it too heavy and warps the foamcore. |

This is a great idea. I could see using the varied colors of foamcore for some interesting results. Thanks for sharing! |
