I just bought the thoumont pack and I'm looking at building some houses. My question is how do you make a diagonal wall. I'm not seeing a way to slide one in. |

Diagonal walls are separate elements altogether that use a completely separate set of posts. Not every set includes them however and to my knowledge, Thomounts is one of the sets where they are absent. |

Are there any sets for TLX that give me the option for diagonal walls? Is it possible to get a small booster with the diagonal posts? |

I bashed some up for Himmelvale, including the requisite posts. It would be very simple for me to make some for Thoumonts and the Friar. What would you like to see in the set? I tend to like to restrict my kitbashes to 4-6 pages. The options are way too many, so, let me know what you think a "core" Thoumont's angled walls set should look like. |

As I see it, Thoumonts has the following types of walls. Wood Outside, Tan Plaster Inside Tan Plaster Both Sides Stone + Grey Plaster Outside, Tan Plaster and Wainscotting inside Tan Plaster and Wainscotting both sides Grey Plaster Outside, Tan Plaster and Wainscotting inside Grey Plaster w/ Beams outside, Tan Plaster w/ Beams outside. Tan Plaster w/ Beams both sides. Eash of these 7 would have a featureless version, a version with a door and a version with windows, in both 4.24" and 8.48" sizes, and in both standard and anti-warp walls. The page for the 4.24" angled wall has one standard wall and one anti-warp wall. So, seven wall configurations, 3 versions each (no feature, door, windows) would be 21 pages for the 4.24" walls alone, and 42 pages for the 8.48" walls, as the standard wall and anti-warp wall come on two separate sheets for the long angled walls. This would be excessive in size for a kitbash, especially considering you would be getting it free if you have the original Thoumont's. If we can scale this down to a reasonable size, I'll make it up and submit it. |
