Hi Guys, Been watching the awesome terrainlinx video (with the banjo? strumming in the background) over and over again. In fact, that was the video that inspired me to begin my very young papercrafting career. To me, the way the bases look, feel, connect etc represents perfectly how I imagine my builds should be. My question for those who filmed it, how was the scenery in the demo constructed? If you could give the gritty details, like paper used, printer used, how the foam was cut, foam thickness, edging (I don't see any edging but still looks great), how the paper was cut, challenges in filming the demo etc that would be great! |

Who filmed it? I would think it was Denny. If you look at the materials and methods videos you'll see him. Paper and cardstock I'm not sure what exactly he used on that. But there are threads for paper and glue recommendations. Printer - he was using a brothers 4040 laser last time I remember it mentioned, not sure if thats still his current one. Edging - it looks edged to me. Were it unedged you'd see white lines everywhere. Using black for all the edges is okay. But for better results you try and use markers that match the colors on the prints. That what it looks like in the video to me. |

It appears to be edged with grays and browns instead of black, helping the edging blend better with the printed textures. |
