I am curently planning on running a cyberpunk campaign, and plan on setting much of it on various offworld colonies. I was thinking of picking up Codename:Titan to use for more industrial colonies as well as possibly for starships. From looking at the pics of Codename:Titan, I'm sure it will work great for colonies, but I'm not sure about using it for starships. I'm thinking of things on the order of Serenity. Thoughts? |

The Titan sets are great for bases and the interiors of larger starships, but don't offer much in the way of small ship exteriors. For Serenity type ships the and/or sets are much better options, IMHO. They could do with more options for streamlining (the current options are boxier than I prefer) and FL in particular can require some easy cut and paste kitbashing to get the layout you want; but other than that, FL and CP are very superbly equiped for making ships on the order of Serenity. p.s. If you go the FL route, has a range of great add-ons for both interiors and some very useful exterior pieces (wings, feet, turret, alternative drive outlets.) |

Welcome to the forums, seeker Jon. Check out the Galleries for pics of space ship builds by others around here. It should give you ideas of what may be possible. Also, I have a current TRAVELLER build "Work In Progress" (WIP)... |
