Okay, I have been practicing with using my Silhouette SD on cutting files and decided to get serious and start on my streets. I can find the TerrainLinX Adobe Template in Streets of Legend, but I cannot find the GSD file to use. Is there a way to send file to the cutter? Thanks! |

I'm not quite following your question. Which stuff in that set are you looking for the cutfiles for? I have the set, but haven't ever constructed any of it, so I can't say whether any files are missing. They all LOOK to be there, though. |

The GSD file for the tiles? That is not needed due to the tiles just being squares (or rectangles in the case of hallways) glued to cardstock. These are much, much faster to cut by hand. |

Thanks for the help guys! I am looking for the GSD file for the templates that are used as a guide to cut out foam core for the bases of TerrainLinX products. I can find the Adobe file, but not the GSD file. The templates can be seen in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6t97Hf5d30M Thanks ! |

Oh. I don't think there is a cutfile for that. There really doesn't need to be one, honestly. What everybody does is print that page from the PDF onto adhesive paper (a.k.a. sticker paper), cut out (by hand) along only the outside squares, then peel off the backing, slap the sticker right onto your foamcore, then cut along the inside lines by hand. ('cuz there is no machine that'll cut foamcore for you) For adhesive paper, I've become a big fan of this stuff: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004MO ... _pC_nS_ttl. They also have 200 count and 300 count "packs" on Amazon. I say "packs" 'cuz I bought the 300 count just a few weeks ago and they just sent me 3 of the 100 count packs. |

What I do is print those templates onto cheap copy paper (or recycled paper...) in draft mode, slice them up quickly using my craft knife or scissors (whichever is closest at hand) and I use super77 spray glue to adhere it to the foamcore. If I'm doing a LOT of tiles, I'll spray the foamcore itself, then put the templates down on it. Adhesive paper works great, too! |
