Hey, I'm looking at converting Mayhem to T-linx (initially for personal use, but possibly to be released) and I just want to get some details straight. Is T-linx 2" only? Will mayhem stay 3" or will it be converted to 2"? I personally like the 2" and wouldn't have trouble porting it over, I just want to make sure it will be compatible with future releases. I also am strongly against having a different standard for the different lines, rendering them basically incompatible. How soon will T-linx come to mayhem? Within months? First quarter of 2010? Just trying to get a gauge on when we'll have official sets to play with. Sacretis |

T-linx is the new standard so all 3" sets (basically EVERY set I've ever done, save Celestus Pravatis) will have to be converted over. That will require considerably more effort than just squashing the graphics however (I know, I tried it already). Balancing the creation of new sets (and for expansions to those sets) with adapting the older sets is going to be one of the trickier time-management aspects of moving forward. At the end of the day there are only still a handful of us... |

I'm really interested in what your doing. I came up with a few problems doing mayhem conversions a few months ago. Mostly with symmetry, and I was too busy with the Beta builds to do much more. I could really use a city fight board. |

At the moment I have been looking at converting the roads over and converting the road sections that i already have made up. I have put the apartment block that I was making on hold for the moment but will probably finish the ground floor and may make another floor for it as I have all ready printed most of it out. The new T-linxed system is perfect for my shadowrun game. I have already started work on building the old underground sewer sections for it.
