TLX doesn't stop fixed builds to be achieved, it just lends itself nicely to play & pack. Go for Gold Grump, and take a frack'n shot while your at it! Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |

If I was you Grump; I would build something up in whatever planned layout you have. Box that up as is. The cool thing for your gifted friends is that they can then tear the thing apart and make their own build! Would be a great boredom gift for someone stuck in a cubicle

Or take the complete Lego road: Put all the elements together in a box and add instructions (off course with nice Lego-like drawings) of how they have to put everything together. |

Heh - I have decided to build other things rather than TLX as gifts... it was the thought of 'Merry Christmas! Have a sewer....' that did it. 
Well, mostly - the skaven player is getting some sewers and a bit of the street above - fourteen tiles (oddly enough part of it looks remarkably like my test build...), six below, six at street, two above. Fitting out the map when I get the chance. 
Next year there will be more to build from, which will allow me to mix 'n' match sets to make something a little more unique. (Building, attic, cellar, secret door into sewers....) The Auld Grump |
