Post subject: | Searching TerrainlinX Model Planner V1 |
Some questions from the born-again WWG paper modeler: 1: I'm considering TerrainlinX Model Planner V1 software (nifty!), but wonder if it has a search feature. It looks like I can get all the upgrades for free as sets come out (even for sets I don't have), but let's say I'm looking for a specific prop (like... a trampoline). Is there a way for me to simply search for it if I'm not familiar with everything in each set? If I know said trampoline is in a certain set that I don't own, then I know that set would become a necessary buy! And, while on the topic of searches, could there be a way to search on the site a bit easier for said trampoline? Or, for example, how many sets have boats in them? I'm imagining something like a keyword search like on those clipart sites... Again, while I like browsing through the products, and their contents are clearly stated, but I like to break out the keyword search-fu over menu diving when I work with images. 2: Also, the software looks like it only arranges the models by set, but is there a way to arrange it by type? For example, can I just look at all the props, or all the walls, or all the floors? It seems like I'm expected to really know what's in each set ("OK, I need that certain floor which is in this set..." as opposed to "Hmm, I wonder what floors there across the board..."). It's good looking software for a great system! Looking forward to playing with it more! |

You can use a Google search to find what you want within the WWG site (see ) |

Post subject: | backyard scene |
I'd wondered if it was a floor-tile only focus, as it appeared in the video. Thank you, all, for the clarification and links! Will give it a try! (Trampoline... trampoline... want to make a Zombies Ate My Neighbors backyard scene...) |
