Post subject: | Scaling up TLX: recommendations for newB? |
Hello there! As I'm building my first wall ever ( ![]() SO, I am wondering if I can dare to run into the world of rescaling but while keeping my tiles as they are (and therefore anchor location)? I have made all my floor tiles in the standard scale, would it be possible without master computer skill to rescale the columns and walls etc up? Would this mean scaling up the anchors too? (asking coz I've already printed most of them and glued over 5 tiles...) Please bare in mind that I really want to make the construction easy and painless, so won't really want to spend much time on photoshoping stuff, ie if it can't be simple I will just do the standard size and my models will just be like Godzilla in town... ![]() Thanks for any help, Cheers, Thomas |

Wyrd's partnership for the tangible terrain uses the same scale (100%). If you do decent to scale things up, everything will most likely need to be scaled up in order for the pieces to interact properly. I personally would leave it as is and build at 100%, but that is your decision. As for the scaling process, you could probably get away with just printing at an increased scale in your pdf viewing program if you didn't want to utilize GIMP or Photoshop. |

Ah. At the risk (an embarassing one) of not being the person you're talking about, I should clarify. When I said "scale to 114%" that was to make the wall sections exactly 6" wide. Although scaling them makes them the right width, it also makes them too tall, so you cut them at the 2" mark, to make them the right height. The reason the wall sections are not 6" wide at 100% is because of the TLX pillars. These are 6" apart, and the walls go between them, making the walls slightly less than 6" wide (5.25" I believe). Hope that helps. |

You can see my build thread here- As for cutting the scaled up walls at 2", there have been no issues with texture mismatch so far. |
