110 lb (199gsm) cardstock in USLetter size (8-1/2" X 11") is a good choice. Some use 65 lb (177gsm) cardstock. The printouts should fit on A4 size sheets too, but check your margins. Do not choose fit to page or any scaling in the printer dialogue. |

A lot of folks here have favorites when it comes to glue. Some use different glues for different situations and for different papers. (cardstock vs. coverstock vs. photo paper) Don't hesitate to ask here for glue suggestions, but make sure to indicate what type of paper you're using. I tried going back to my first set and edge all the pieces after assembly. It's possible for most things. One thing I found was that I wasn't making square corners -- they were slanted in a little, exposing the underside of the cardstock. These days, I'm much better at making square corners, but I still color in about 1/4" of area around where the corners would be: Here's another edging shot that I had lying around. I go around the perimeter of the top and bottom of the tile, and around the flaps too: |

I tried UHU twist n glue and found it to be too watery for most things - it was causing warping for me. I reccomend a regular Elmer's gluestick for things like sandwich folds and Aileene's Tacky Glue (available at craft stores like Michael's) for tabs and the like. |

I use UHU Twist n Glue - a little on the damp side, but ok. (The glue selection in NZ is pretty limited. The UHU Twist n Glue is the best generally available non-toxic glue here. If any other kiwis know a better glue, pse let me know.) |

Scrubkai couldn't have said it better. One more thing - you may want to check out the "Oubliette of Peril" TLX set. It has quite a generic look that could be used for a lot of things, from cities, to dungeons, to temples. |

Hi guys, Thanks for all the help and feedback!! You guys are great!! I'm not sure why I am little hesitant I just want to get the right one to start with I guess lol. The Oubliette of Peril looks quite interesting. But I don't think I will be making much in the way of narrow hallways or paths. But it appears you can make it open concept with the set as well. so I may just take the plunge and order it... I'm thinking I already know the answer to this question but I will ask anyways....are their any sets with a winter theme? Cheers and thanks! |

Yes. Lost Halls of the Dwarven Kings has optional snow-covered tiles and walls in it: http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/in ... cts_id=308 It won't give you a frozen tundra wilderness look, but it's got a nice snowy look to it. |
