This thread is for posting layouts built using the TerrainlinX Planner.

I hope this idea takes-off and evolves into an official TLX Planner Repository for people to share and comment on build designs. If it does I hope the WWG team has time to set up a system for uploading .wws files similar to the way the photo gallery works for pictures.

Note: The server software used for this forum does not allow uploading of .wws files. All wws files should be compressed into a .zip (or equivalent) archive format before uploading. This has the added benefits of allowing multiple wws files, allowing inclusion of manifest.txt files, as well as reducing bandwidth demand on the WWG servers.

I will get things started with my first build (yes I am a total noob):


Build name: Simple Dwarven Tower

Short Description: My first build. Used for a game in which my players stormed an abandoned Dwarven watch tower that had been re-inhabited by Goblins, Orcs, and one mean old Ogre.

So that is the kind format I am thinking we should use. Of course this is all just a suggestion so if anyone has ideas for simplifying or improving this in any way please post them.

Here's a bit of Threadomancy I know, but somehow I missed this and just discovered it. This is a great idea, especially with so many people on this forum doing such great TLX builds, sharing is caring. I know I often get overwhelmed attempting to layout a terrain scheme and tend to just back burner it. So here is something I put together for a future project, a small Malifaux table design, 3x3 with buildings. Maybe it will help some TLX newbie with deciding what he/she wants to put together.

It uses the Deadfall set, not building essentials, but could be adapted easily enough.
