Thanks bro, I appreciate it and I know others do also. You guys have always had great customer service and always go the extra mile. I understand the kind of situation you are in now because a company I used to work for went through a somewhat similar situation. Not as hard to fix as this, but still a customer service nightmare.
I can see where the decision to use RPGNOW to expand the company's customer base, presence in the market and sales, while a great idea, is now potentially somewhat of a thorn in the side for you guys, and probably will be for the foreseeable future at least as far as the sets sold there are concerned. Not being able to access the old files for updates makes the situation even harder for you from a customer service standpoint, and since there's no easy way for you to give credit on this site for the sets bought on RPGNOW, it causes you have to walk a tightrope service wise so that customers that bought over there don't feel like they were thrown under the bus. I don't envy you the headache that comes from all of this.
All in all its not the end of the world. My Grandfather always used to say " This too shall pass."
In the Tlinx Planner situation I actually found an easy fix. I just repurchased it from this site. In the end, $5.00 is really nothing and I don't mind spending it to support a great group of guys and for something I use everyday. This post isn't meant to be bashing anybody and I hope it doesn't come across that way, it's just a way to show that some people can empathize with and understand the situations that come up as businesses grow and expand. Keep up the great work guys! I can't wait for the next set to be released.
