Hi All

I've just bought, downloaded and installed the TLX Planner software ....

,,,, and just realised I don't have a clue how to operate it. The help files seem to assume you know how to go about creating a map. I can't figure it out at all at the moment.

Is there a "TLX Planner for Dummies" guide anywhere ?

Failing that, could someone post or point me to a few tips just to get me started.

Though a number of things have changed with recent updates (noted in the Help file), the best place to cover basics is with the following video:

I would give you some specific advice, but honestly that video is a great start and I don't want to overwhelm. Let us know if you have any further questions.

What they said. The video will give you the basics. When you're familiar with that way of working, you can begin to experiment with new features
And do feel free to ask any question about how to use the planner.

I was forgetting to define my playing area each time.

In fact, you don't need to create a playing area to create maps.
It's just a way to have an idea of the size of your build...
