Hey guys,

I've just brought TerraLinX tonight and I've been playing around with it. There's just a few things I'm slightly confused by, and I'd like to ask some questions. :o

1. Is there a way to zoom in or out on what you're doing?

2. Can the Markers be changed in their scale to make them smaller?
((I also noticed I don't have a ladder marker))

3. When building stairs, how does that work in the plans? Say.. I want to go from the bottom layer and go up one. On the next layer, do I leave a hole in the floor over where the stairs come up? Do I just put the floor over the stairs as normal and the program take the stairs below into account?

4. I also brought the Thoumont's set. What are the .GSD files? How are they used?


Thanks all for your time and help! I'll prolly have a few more silly questions over time, as I've never done anything like this before. But I'm really looking forward to getting into it and building some awesome sets for my D&D/Pathfinder games!

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

1. No. No zoom is implemented in the planner. It is a feature that has been requested several times, so it may be available in a future version.

2. Markers are just images put on top of your map. So, no, they can't be resized... but see this to see how to add your own markers (generic symbols only)

3. Not sure of what you mean. The planner is just that : a planner. You can put floors wherever you want. So if you put a stair on one layer and put a floor in the same place in next layer, then so be it... I recommend using layer transparency to see your ground layer from your next floor, when building...

4. GSD files are autocutting files for robocutters. if you happen to have one, then lucky you, the robocutter will cut the paper for you...
