Hi, looking at the planner, it tells me to use pan roofs, pan over roofs, pan sweep roof over and mini sweeps. But when I look at the Thoumont pdf files, I have gables, high angled roofs, high big roofs, high small roofs and low angled, low big and low small roofs. What is what? ![]() |

Honestly I've never paid any attention to the names... From the planner, I can tell if it's a roof piece that is 3" or 6" wide, big or small, with or without overhang etc. I doubt I'll get a chance to look at the actual files until this weekend to remind myself - life is getting in the way of fun - but if noone has chimed in before then and you haven't posted that you reconciled the differences already, I'll give it a shot. |

Hmmm... Never noticed that before. Part of the probem is that the roof is not specific to any given set, it's generic names. So I think they picked generic tiles for the roof rather then give you exact PDF Names. So I'm not sure how you fix that. |

To be honest, this is the first time I noticed this too. I guess I think too much in graphics anyway, I never read the descriptions. Like ScrubKai said, this is what happens when you try to make things generic enough so everything could fit in. My apologies for the confusion it may have caused. As for what’s what: - Big 6" pan roof and big 6" pan over roof: These are the high big roofs. The first page of the PDF is the "over" version (with overhang). The second page is the "normal" version (ideal for when you want a roof panel to stop next to a wall). - Big 3" pan roof and big 3" pan over roof: These are the high small roofs. Same split-up as with the 6" version. - Big sweep roofs: these are all in the High angled roofs. There’s a lot of them in there, the easiest way is to visually match them I think. They are kinda self explanatory. - Mini 6" pan roof and mini 6" pan over roof: These are called low big roofs. Both versions with and without overhang are on 1 page. - Mini 3" pan roof and mini 3" pan over roof: These are the low small roofs. Also all on the same page. - Mini sweep roofs: These are the low angled roofs. Also all on the same page and best visually matched. I hope this helps. If not, let me know. |

Brilliant thanks. ![]() No need to apologize. To recap: The big roofs are the high ones in the pdfs and the mini ones are the low ones. over means with overhang sweep means angled ergo big sweep = high angled and mini sweep = low angled So a Mini 3" Pan Sweep Roof Over Left = a 3" wide low angled overhang left side. Thanks again! P.S. Why not give the pdfs the generic name? You already know what tile set you're using. |
