Post subject: | Need help with JAVA and TLX-Planner |
Hi i`m new at WWG and only 2 days ago i downloaded my first staff concerning papermodeling. I´m from Germany, so please be kind and try to ignore grammer and spelling mistakes. As you can see from the heading, i have serious problems with the TLX-Planner. Every time i try to start the software i get this message: Sorry, but there was an exception while launching the application: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\Björn\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$DI71.816\Resources\gui_images.wwz (Das System kann den angegebenen Pfad nicht finden) at java.util.zip.ZipFile.open(Native Method) at java.util.zip.ZipFile.<init>(Unknown Source) at java.util.zip.ZipFile.<init>(Unknown Source) at com.wwg.planner.ZipSource.init(ZipSource.java:44) at com.wwg.planner.ZipSource.<init>(ZipSource.java:25) at com.wwg.planner.WWE.loadResources(WWE.java:4570) at com.wwg.planner.WWE.<init>(WWE.java:386) at com.wwg.planner.WWE$1.run(WWE.java:213) at java.awt.event.InvocationEvent.dispatch(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue.dispatchEventImpl(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue.access$000(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.security.AccessControlContext$1.doIntersectionPrivilege(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue.dispatchEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpOneEventForFilters(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForFilter(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForHierarchy(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run(Unknown Source) I downloaded the newest JAVA version and checkt the Problem with the "Ö" in the path, but the results are the same. The main Problem is, I don't have any idea what this message tries to tell me. Of course there is something wrong with a/the path, but I'm not a computergeek at all and it would be realy nice, if someboby could give me some praktical/precise advice what i have to do, to make the planner working. Thnaks a lot for upcoming answers. Ohh and I'm using Windows Vista (the 32 bit version I think) Thanks again Björn |

Hi Björn, First, welcome to the forums. I'm sure you will get addictedlike anyone else here ![]() I see this in the trace : C:\Users\Björn\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$DI71.816\ This looks like a temporary directory created by a program like winrar or similar, when unzipping one file from an opened zip. It seems you're trying to launch the planner without unzipping it first... You absolutely need to unzip the planner zip file in a directory (for example in a subdirectory of your home directory), in order for the planner to work correctly. |
