I've just downloaded the software and when I try to start it I get an error message: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.8 Java 13.9.5 Any ideas to help fix this? cheers Guy |

You can try two things : First, go to the ressource directory then in the modelset directory (don't have the name right here, this is the directory containing all the modelsets used by the planner). Try to keep only 1 or two modelsets in the directory, to see if that solves the problem. If taht solves it, try adding modelset one by one, to find the critical size... Second, try to launch the planner from a command line. It usually prints more debug informations that way, that can help analyse the problem. |

That fixed it. I didn't think it would come with all the tile sets pre-loaded. Reduced it to the one I have and it started fine. cheers and thanks Guy |

To be able to launch with all tilesets (hey that's also why the planner is good : to see what next set you need !), you may try launching from a console with an option "-Xmx256m" something like java -Xmx256m -jar TerrainlinX_Planner.jar or even more : java -Xmx512m -jar TerrainlinX_Planner.jar I'm not sure this option works on MacOS, though... |
