Hi!
I finally got some ink and glue together (still looking for cardstock) and had a go at printing, cutting and gluing. The stuff I printed was really test prints to get the right brightness and contrast for my printer (which I'll add in the printer options thread) so some are quite dark.
Not having cardstock I printed on photo paper (165 gm) and it's quite flimsy but hey, these are tests after all! Here are a few photos of my build in process.
I found this glue in a shop in the UK called "Poundshop" where everything is, yup, £1 and it sticks really well.
Here's the finished ramp. Let's just say I stuck a few wrong sides together *ahem* before getting it right.
And finally, I decided to stick the printed photo paper onto cardboard, cut them out and give that a try.
Overall, they didn't turn out too bad.
Now to get my kids interested in having a game.
