I would like to see the software expand its capabilities, but I am more of a realist in terms of its immediate possibilities. That is because I do have some programming background and know how much of a pain it is to add features like the ones suggested. I would like to make one point against something that was said, however. Assuming that piracy would be lowered by a cloud environment is naive. If you can download something from anywhere, you can download it onto any computer and likely more than one. It may seem innocent the first time you do it, but it may not seem so innocent when all your friends have the same thing on their computers without paying. |

Two things which were planned but didn't quite make it into V1 were "print from PDF" and "user inventory control" functionality. We simply ran out of time and we had to get this out to start income flowing. We could have easily spent another 6 months adding features. We are continuing to work at implementing those two key features though (along with many others). In terms of the larger context of the software and its potential relationship to other user interactions with our products; let me just say that the TLX planner is a very small part of a much more ambitious framework. Hopefully that will see the light of day at some point in 2010. |

While I love the idea of an integrated planner and direct printing, I just want to add that virtual PDF's hidden on a cloud server (as suggested above) would be a non-starter for me. My favorite thing about Worldworks is my ability to take apart the PDF's (and now GSD's) and tinker with them to make exactly what I want. |

Great additions to the discussion, Riley & Denny. I really look forward to the future of the software and WWG in general. As well, like Riley, I'm not sure Cloud is something I would pay for, neither. My MBP is my cloud and it is always with me. I buy the PDFs, I put them on my laptop and I print them at will. While I understand that some people don't have laptops, I believe that WWG staff has already said that USB drives are valuable tools. |
