Has anyone ever used the planner and the WWG community to create a Mayhem city?

Wow, this is so much easier to explain in my head than it is to put in to type..

What I mean is the community develops a rigid city plan to play on. The plans for which are posted on here along with any kitbashing needed to make unique features around the city.

Everybody picks a section of the city and develops it. Once it's done it's all compiled in to our own major city with flats, shops, hotels, streets, even a subway. Sections of this city could be then be rebuilt time and time again by users to play scenerios for various games which could be developed by the community again.

Something like that would be great for campaigns and running storylines.

Interesting idea. This would allow those on here who are more creative to share their ideas for creating unique and interesting layouts.

I was thinking of it in terms of an ATZ campaign which could be played by people over the web.

Tom, Dick and Harry are spread throughout the city and are trying to get to each other. Each player could play their games on pre-set terrain, posting reports at the end of each game moving from city grid to city grid.

In creating the city each user could have a 4-foot square section to populate, with the overall city being 10 sections square or even larger.

40 foot square Mayhem city ... the mind boggles.

Ahh Tamriel Rebuilt. I had so hoped they would have finished them.

Something like this has been done with the Hirst Arts set.

It would be cool to make a comparable fantasy city and a Mayhem city.

It would be interesting to do something like this in all genres (although we will need to wait until there is more than just one Sci-Fi TLX set). A group effort for Himmelveil would be cool.

Here is a little something that I've been working on the past few months, I haven't had much time as of late to work on it but it will be finished by early December . I got alot more done since these pics were taken, will have to update tonight! All total it will be 5'x7'

Really cool! I like the idea of using the planner for for shared worlds.

Agreed. I would love to start or be in on the fantasy version.

We should start one. Actually, I am going to do just that.

I'd be in for a scifi one, like a 'community official' Titan, but it's probably going to have to wait a year or so for poor Paul to pump out more sets. But a 3'X2'X5' ship for huge boarding action scenarios would be pretty sweet.

You guys are always 2 steps ahead of us We've been banging around more robust tools for sharing layouts and heavy mods to the planner.

Anyway, we fully endorse a community lead effort to map out the City of Mayhem, Himmelveil and beyond!
