Post subject:  Oak Inn Layout Plan

Been making layouts in the Layout planner of various building. The plan is to make simple base tile plans for scenarios, encounters and not bother fleshing out the buildings in the map. Instead I will access buildings designed separately and build these on top of the corresponding foundations in the plan. This way I don't end up with buildings that are awkward to edit if I wish to change streets.

Below I've include an Large inn layout I have just finished planning. It is based of a Map pack called Oak Inn and uses Himmelveil Streets, Thoumont and The Garden. The actual .wwe file has colour codes so you can see where sections should be unlinked so it is easy to pull apart for combat inside.

Hope someone finds this helpful.

You don't do anything by half , That is a 3.5 by 3.5 foot lay out, is that for an PRG or a nice indoor Malifuax game.

This was really great to post. I'll probably never build anything this large, but I've been holding off on buying the planner. Whenever I see layouts posted (especially grand buildings like this!) it makes it really hard to resist buying...

Go for it! The price is a pittance compared to what you get. Look as it as a logistical investment for your hobby.

Great looking Layout. The WWE file that you made up only has the 2 layer where your post shows at least 5.
