Forum topics have been written up. I hope others find it useful. I sent a kitbash submission to Bob Cooper for the marker files. Since users can't just drop in a new marker file (that I know of), I included instructions for how to add the supplied images to the existing marker file, and how to modify the manifest file properly. Here's the image I sent along with it: I suppose I could have chosen a more interesting font... It's just that when it's scaled down to a 16x16 image, I didn't want to have to fuss with every letter to make it look OK, and most of the fonts I had installed for GIMP weren't that great anyway. I look forward to trying my hand at making markers for the Hinterland Forest trees and shrubs, and even the rocks and *gasp* the big stone head. I still will waggle my finger at WWG and claim that you fellas should provide that stuff with each release, but for now I would like to see you get the new storefront done so you can move onto getting more stuff released! ![]() I really would love to be able to just drop in additional files for new symbols, like you can with tlx files... That would make this process SO much easier... |

Any idea if the planner supports transparent markers? |

Yup. Markers can have transparent areas. I've been using PNG format images, but I think GIF images are a-ok too. |
