I found a rather nice storage solution for the TerraClips system. A while back I purchases a 3-row, 4-column box, where each hole housed a long card box (for CCGs and such). Specifically, . Anyways, I'm now using it for TerraClips. The only pieces that don't fit in the card boxes are the 6x6 tiles and the ramps. Everything else, including the fully-assembled stairs, fit perfectly. The top row is the buildings set, middle row streets, bottom row sewers. First column is stairs, ladders and doors, all assembled. Second column is 3x3 floor tiles and all wall tiles. Third column is for balconies and railings. Fourth column has roofs for the buildings and the connectors, each type bagged individually. I got the "2-piece" boxes when I originally bought it (i.e. the ones with lids, as opposed to the wrap around ones, so I ditched the lids and now they're basically just drawers that I can pull out to access, or even remove entirely as appropriate. |

I'm actually using the same storage bins I use for my Dwarven Forge pieces. Here are some pics: The one bin holds one set of the Buildings AND Streets. The other bins holds two boxes of clips plus all the other smaller pieces in zip bags. I purchased them at Target. Funny enough, I have the exact same rack and I use it for storing minis. I almost cannabilized it for the terraclips as well, when I hit on the idea of the card boxes. There are two annoying bits about that rack. One is the height, which would prevent storing the stairs assembled (though to be fair, it can store the large tiles fine, which my solution can't, so neither is perfect). The other is that a tray can't be opened unless you pull it out of the rack entirely. I wish they'd made it so the lid hinged in the center and you could access things without pulling it out. |
