Just a quick one to say that I have received my 3 sets (one of each + 3 packs of clips) and was overwhelmed with... what to do with it!
I thought I had more imagination than that, but I stared at it for several hours with not much building, just thinking and thinking...My first thoughts were that I really like how heavy duty and sturdy those tiles feel, as well as the matte finish, they just look great!
I join the peeps who wish for 6x3 "corridor" style tiles, to avoid having lots of small tiles + connectors next to each other, and agree that the TCP planner will be a great support (I think it should take into account what sets you own and "grey-out" your available tiles as you build, since you work with a definite amount of pieces, unlike TLX).
I'm really happy with it, although because I'm working with just these 3 sets for Malifaux tables (3'x3') I find myself running short of big tiles (especially if you build high, I ended up using the 3x3 in the corners just to support the walls). I'm hesitant to buy a duplicate of one of those sets as if an "add-on" booster pack is released in the next wave I'd rather buy that for variety's sake.
All in all I'm a happy man, with a product I was dreaming of
, I can now sell away my (unused) stash of black foamcore and wait for the TCP booster packs...Thanks WWG/Wyrd!
