Hello, I think about getting Terraclips. But I can't imagine how much I can build with, lets say, one Streets and one Buildings package. So is there a planner or some blueprints for good tables so I can see how much I need for beginning? With a planner or such I think its also easier to start buidling because you can arrange your tile on the pc what is easier then linking them and later see that they doesn't fit at the end ... Even with a planner, you still have the same problems. With TLX the planner does not become really useful till after you have bungled through a few random assemblies. But to give you an idea 1 streets and 1 buildings should give youall you need to setup a 1.5x1.5 to 2x2 RPG encounter area. That would give you the inn or tavern plus surrounding streets. Possibly several small business and streets of the market district. |

We're currently muscling through the next 3 TerraClips releases. Once those are off to the factory, we plan on taking another hard look at a dedicated TerraClips planner. Its software and software takes time to develop of course but we do have the advantage of learning a few things from our original TerrainlinX planner software in this case. Hope to have news there sometime in the near future. I realize what an important tool this would be for the community and potential users of TerraClips. |

Due to some of the unique elements involved (and enhancements) and a clean separation of licensing issues, we'll have to focus on a dedicated Terraclips planner this time around. |

I wonder if the planner is being moved up the priority list since it looks like we'll have 6 terraclip sets soon. |

A future TerraClips planner really needs to be a fully 3D virtual construction kit. That's the only way to express the true possibilities and to give people the necessary tools to build and share layouts effectively. This is why, from our perspective, we have to go back to the drawing board from our TerrainlinX planner and into something a bit more visually robust. |
