Firstly hello!
I've been playing/running RPGs and some mini games for about 25 years now (phew!), but have never really considered 3D terrain until recently. I heard about TC on the Pathfinder Podcast and, after checking out some videos and reviews, picked up a Streets Pack. The Sewers and Buildings soon followed! (I live in the UK so consider myself somewhat lucky to have been able to get them).
Loving TC! My gamer friends are pretty much blown away by them - you should have seen the looks on their cynical faces the first time I presented them with the 3 storey house (with streets, and sewer/basement) that they were about to infiltrate! Out came the iphones!
I've quickly become a big fan, and can't wait to see what the next 3 sets are (I'm hoping for dungeons/crypts, and more building styles).
Anyway, my questions:
1. Is there any plans to produce 'replacement' parts etc for the sets. I'm pretty heavy handed and have found that the walls with doors tend to be quite weak because of the relatively thinness above the door gap, and on a couple of occasions I've bent the stock whilst inserting them into clips. They are still very useable but I'm conscious that I've probably reduced their lifespan somewhat.
2. Roofs. I've reviewed the videos, but still find the huge variety of pieces for the roofs in the Buildigs set somewhat daunting. Any plans to produce a more extensive roofing tutorial?
3. Cross-piece/X clips. Any plans to release any X/Cross clips for joining 4 walls? I doubt they would be used as much as the others, but I've only built a couple of scenes, and found that they would be useful to add strength to a structure.
4. Finally, corridoors. I've had a bit of luck with using balcony pieces, but some corridoors would be great, as at the moment I'm finding that scenes are a collection of 30x30 or 15x15 rooms only which, though fine, don't always offer the tactical environment I'm trying to create. It would be great to see stone/wood corridoors in one of the new sets.
